A Poem

(Originally posted on 6/23/10)

Fury.
There's a never-ending fury in your body.
And still, I am drawn to you.
Power.
Waves of overwhelming power crash inside your winds.
Yet I, I want to be near you.

You embrace so much life.
Life abides in you, takes from you, is taken by you.

Persistent.
I can see no end to you, to your movement.
Chaotic.
Yet I hear peace in your ebb, in your noise.
Destructive.
But when my wounds feel the salt in your comfort, healing begins.

I will always need you.
Always.
